Beg Steal or Borrow won the UK Song for Europe competition by scoring nearly as many votes as the other 5 entries totalled between them, it went on to become the runner up in the Eurovision Song Contest and became another resounding international hit for the group. |

One of two hits by the Move and penned by Roy Wood which were recorded by the New Seekers with Peter singing lead vocals. A number one hit for the Move in 1969, it was also later performed and recorded by another of Roy Wood's creations: ELO. As was the case with some other songs performed by the group, the New Seekers version omitted a verse from the original hit. |
