For You We Sing

One By One came a resounding second in the UK vote for the Song For Europe, although it lagged a long way behind Beg, Steal or Borrow it scored nearly twice as many points as it's nearest rival making it a worthy choice for the B side of the 1972 Eurovision release.

Peter's final single as a solo artist before joining the Virgil Brothers is a masterpiece in which he gives a truly haunting, mature performance.  It is hard to understand now, why this should have been the swansong to his sixties solo career instead of the start of something even bigger.
